“Adventures in Archaeological Science” coloring book now available!

We are proud to announce that our “Adventures in Archaeological Science” coloring book is now available! The coloring book was produced for the 2017 Long Night of Science as the final project of a scientific illustration training workshop taught by Christina Warinner and Jessica Hendy in the summer of 2017. Each page was hand-drawn by a scientist at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History and features real research and archaeological projects. Edited by Christina Warinner and Jessica Hendy, with special contributions by: Zandra Fagernäs, Jessica Hendy, Allison Mann, Åshild Vågane, Ke Wang, and Christina Warinner. Currently available in English and German. (10.3 MB downloadable English language coloring book)

Translations into multiple languages are in progress, including Spanish, Chinese, Mongolian, Tibetan, Nepali, Nahuatl, and Yucatec Maya. Keep checking our page for translation updates! Translation suggestions are welcome.
