We stand in support of Black Lives Matter. We strive to reveal the past and our shared human connections. We do not condone the use of our work to promote racist political ideologies. As part of #ShutDownSTEM, we will use today to educate ourselves and reflect on our role within the broader field of scientific research, and how we may expand diversity and equity at our institutions and within our field.
