SCIENCE FASHION – SCI FA
Science can be beautiful as well as educational, and we’ve teamed up with undergraduate anthropologist and DairyCultures team member Zoljargal Enkh-Amgalan to support a unique educational fashion line – Sci Fa. The Sci Fa designs are inspired by the work of the Heirloom Microbes and DairyCultures projects and are based on SEM and light microscopy images taken of dairy bacteria from traditional Mongolian dairy products. The fashion project aims to raise awareness about the diverse microbes and probiotics found in traditional foods. The fashion line was recently featured at the 2019 Berlin Alternative Fashion Week and on MNB World.
