Congratulations to Chengrui Zhang who successfully defended his PhD thesis in the Department of Anthropology at Harvard University on April 8, 2024 on “Subsistence and Ritual: Animal Economy in the Bronze Age Qaidam Basin in Northwestern China”!
The thesis combined zooarchaeology and ZooMS to explore the Bronze Age pastoralist animal economy at the site of Xiaeryamakebu in the Qinghai province of China. Congratulations Dr. Zhang!
